Today, April 21, 2021, the Department of Morphological Disciplines of NIMSI held a scientific and practical conference dedicated to the 30th anniversary of World Hemophilia Day on the topic “Royal Disease or Hemophilia”. In which teachers and students of our institute participated.
The conference began with the anthem of the Kyrgyz Republic, after which the head of the Department of Morphological Disciplines, Ph.D. of Medicine, Maksuda Bekievna, acquainted the participants and guests with the conference regulations and gave the floor to the Rector of NIMSI, Doctor of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, Associate Professor Tampagarov K.B. who wished good luck to all participants of the conference.
The purpose of the conference was to inform about the blood disease called Hemophilia.
Hemophilia is a hereditary disease of the blood coagulation system resulting from a deficiency of blood coagulation factor VIII (FVIII) – hemophilia A, or blood coagulation factor IX (FIX) – hemophilia B.
Hemophilia is inherited in an X-linked recessive inheritance pattern.
This disease occurs with a frequency of 1 case per 50,000 newborns, and hemophilia A is diagnosed more often: 1 case of the disease per 10,000 people, and hemophilia B is less common: 1: 30,000-50,000 male residents.
In Kyrgyzstan, 370 people suffer from hemophilia in 2019, 150 of them are children under 16 years old.

Also, for a more accurate presentation and understanding of this disease, posters drawn by the doctors themselves, teachers of the Department of Medical Sciences, were presented.

After each report and presentation of posters, the guests of the conference asked questions of interest to them, which were answered by the speakers and presenters.
At the end of the conference, to consolidate the information received and for feedback from the audience, blitz questions were asked to which the participants began to actively answer.
After the end of the reports, the rector Tampagarov K.B. , Vice-Rector for Research Narbaev M.R., Head of the Department of International Relations Kaliev A.A. thanked the participants for their active participation in the conference and wished them good luck in further scientific work.
